Job Description Job Description We're looking for an Accountant to join our finance team and help support the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. This role is ideal for someone who's recently graduated or has limited accounting experience but wants to learn the ropes in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries Support month-end and year-end close processes Reconcile bank statements and company credit card accounts Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Prepare and post journal entries under supervision Help with inventory and cost accounting support as needed Assist in preparing reports for management and external stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Sales, and HR) to ensure accurate financial data Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting workflows Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent relative experience Basic understanding of GAAP principles Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Eagerness to learn and grow within a small but dynamic team Preferred (but not required) Internship or prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping Interest in consumer electronics or retail environments As part of the application and onboarding process, Skullcandy conducts background checks on prospective employees to ensure a safe and trustworthy work environment.
