Taulia is seeking a talented, enthusiastic, and collaborative
DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us scale our platform
worldwide. As a DevOps Engineer within Taulia, you will take part
in the creation, operation, maintenance, and evolution of our
infrastructure as we continue to grow. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities: --- Development and continued improvement of ---
Cloud-based services, including Kubernetes clusters --- Test,
Build, Deployment and other CI/CD Services --- Respond to and
troubleshoot system outages and performance issues and implement
solutions. --- Implement and enforce security best practices ---
Work cross-organizationally with multiple teams and individuals
including software architects, developers and network operations
center engineers Core Skills and Key Competencies: --- 7+ years of
experience working with an enterprise SaaS solution hosted on a
cloud platform. --- Strong understanding of Unix/Linux operating
systems, CLI, and its internals. --- Proficiency with Cloud
technologies. Specifically, Google Cloud Platform, and/or AWS. ---
Scripting/coding proficiency with languages like Bash, Python,
Groovy or Ruby --- Deep understanding of virtualization, container
and orchestration technologies like Docker & Kubernetes ---
Experience with code repository management, code merge and quality
checks and version control workflows. --- Experience with log
collection and analysis and performance monitoring. --- Experience
writing infrastructure as code, EG Terraform, Ansible, Helm ---
Knowledge of Jenkins or other tools for automated build, delivery,
and release of software. Other Qualifications --- Extremely
reliable and we can count on you in times of need. --- Proven
success in contributing to a team-oriented environment --- Proven
ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving
environment --- Strong interpersonal and teaming skills - ability
to implement processes and influence engineers who are not direct
reports. Bonus Skills & Experience --- Deep knowledge of clustering
& service orchestration frameworks e.g. Swarm, Kubernetes ---
Managed kubernetes services - GKE or EKS --- Database
administration of mysql & nosql databases including MySQL &
Cassandra --- Message Broker systems including ActiveMQ, Kafka ---
Log collection systems implementation & management - including ELK
Stack, Graylog, Datadog, Prometheus, etc. --- Implementation and
management of CDN & WAF Solutions - Cloudflare, Akamai, Amazon
