Summary: Cirque is looking for a Quality Engineering Manager (QEM) to join our growing quality department at Cirque. The QEM will primarily be responsible for providing both technical and QA support to a robust group of engineering that includes firmware, hardware, PCB design, and ASIC design. Additionally, the QEM will work with the Director, QA to prepare for ISO 9001 certification and participate in internal and external audits.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Automation and documentation of touchpad tests
  • Data collection and visualization - including failure analysis
  • Establishment and monitoring of test limits and controls
  • Yield enhancement activities
  • Ad hoc engineering testing of product
  • Setting up and maintaining new manufacturing, engineering, and testing processes to meet quality standards
  • Work with Field Applications Engineers (FAE) to address performance and quality issues at overseas manufacturing sites
  • Establish and maintain a revision control process for customer requestsConduct internal audits of QA processes and participate in external audits as needed
    Requirements:
    • BS degree in an Engineering discipline, Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred
    • 5+ years of work experience in a technical position involving electronics manufacturing and/or testing
    • Some experience managing technical teams and projects
    • Solid communications skills for sharing complex technical information via verbal and written media
    • Knowledge of the ISO-9001 quality standard and its application in engineering environments
      The ideal candidate will also have:
      • MS degree in an engineering discipline
      • Semiconductor electronics manufacturing experience
      • Experience building and maintaining electrical or mechanical testing equipment
      • Data science experience - working with large datasets, creating data visualizations, and using statistical process control in a manufacturing setting.
      • Quality auditing experience. Helping others establish long-standing quality systems, and leading corrective and preventive action efforts.

        Hybrid Policy: This position is a hybrid position. Employees are able to work from home whenever possible but must be available to work onsite if needed for collaboration or efficiency. One onsite day per month is required for company update meetings (pre-scheduled).
