Job Description Job Description DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY Job Description The Maintenance Mechanic position requires experience and skill in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical areas associated with plastics injection molding equipment and general facility grounds and equipment. Under direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance mechanic must provide support to production while following all safety procedures and policies. Hours 6:45 PM - 7:00 AM Pay $32.00 - $34.00 ( 0.50 shift differential) Job Duties Perform electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and general facility equipment maintenance Operate and utilize machine tools and diagnostic equipment including drill presses, hose crimpers, volt and amp meters, thermocouple calibration units, micrometers, calipers, scales, and levels Troubleshoot CNC, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled equipment, including plastic injection molding machinery Install wiring, calibrate machines, and perform equipment adjustments, repairs, and component replacement Manage work orders and parts requisitions through the maintenance system, ensuring timely completion and accurate vendor and part selection Maintain parts inventory and support preventive maintenance programs in accordance with published standards and documentation requirements Ensure strict compliance with safety, LOTO, and food safety requirements while supporting supply chain awareness and compliance Requirements High school diploma or GED required, with a minimum of three to five years of relevant manufacturing or maintenance experience Technical school or vocational training may be considered in lieu of direct work experience Preferred knowledge of injection molding processes and supporting equipment, including auxiliary systems such as AEC units, material loaders, heaters, chillers, conveyors, and related tooling Prior experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across teams Preferred certifications and hands-on experience in industrial automation and control systems, including PLCs, robotics, and automated manufacturing equipment Certifications such as ISA Certified Automation Professional (CAP) or Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST) strongly preferred Experience and certification with major PLC and controls platforms, including Siemens and Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation Robotics programming and troubleshooting experience with industrial robot systems such as FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Universal Robots (UR), or Yaskawa Motoman Background in robotics, mechatronics, or automation technology, supported by formal training or recognized technical certifications Company Description Our Professional Division works with clients as a stakeholder in their hiring strategy and process.
