Water/Wastewater Director will play a crucial and strategic role in
leading our water/wastewater engineering staff, supporting, and
delivering water infrastructure and treatment projects in the Salt
Lake City area and throughout the Rocky Mountain Region. Key
responsibilities will focus on project execution and delivery,
providing exceptional client service, business performance , and
leading and mentoring the SLC Water/Wastewater team. Innovation and
collaboration will be highly valued. Essential Functions of the
Job: Ability to monitor and evaluate the operations of the Salt
Lake City team of approximately 5-10 people Coordinating tasks,
motivating team members, fostering positive communication, and
resolving conflicts Actively involved in monitoring the budget,
schedule, and quality of projects within the group Successful
experience in proposals and scope & fee writing to obtain work
Provide technical leadership for projects as a mentor to all levels
of the team Supervising Project Management staff and recruitment of
new staff when needed Responsible for monthly group level
performance to align with overall group objectives/targets for
growth and profitability Be available to team members to mentor
junior staff and consult with the Practice Director for guidance
Responsible for delivering service to the client and for client
relations Responsible for risk management and proactive change
management Develop innovative solutions to add value to our clients
that differentiate Ardurra from competitors Responsible for
marketing to existing clients through project performance,
expanding the scope of existing contracts, and identifying new
project opportunities Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required Professional Engineer
