Job Description Job Description The Senior Electrical Engineer will work in a fast-paced multi-discipline team environment responsible for designing building systems and producing construction documentation for institutional projects in the higher education, government and healthcare markets. We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to be part of our firm. In this role, you will Design electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarm, telecom and security. Develop calculations for lighting systems and associated controls. Develop electrical system design calculations. Prepare detailed design documents in REVIT. Perform QA/QC design work. Lead a project team and managing projects. Coordinate with Owners and Architects. Coordinate work with other disciplines. Complete code compliance research. Oversee and provide guidance to junior engineers. Assist in the procurement of new work, including the development of client relations. You will be a great fit if: 5-8 years of hands on design experience as registered engineer in building construction. You have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. You possess a Professional Engineer license, PE or are in the process of obtaining a PE. You have experience with complex institutional, high-rise mixed-use and commercial projects. You have LEED experience, certification is desired. You are familiar with codes, standards and design guidelines. You have Project Management experience. Skills/abilities: Excellent work ethic and attitude. Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work. Ability to lead a team as well as work as part of a team. Proficient in Revit and MS Office. Location : Denver, CO or South Jordan, UT (Hybrid) Compensation : This is a full-time position as an employee working hybrid. Benefits include a health insurance plan, a 401K profit sharing plan, and PTO. The position offers competitive compensation with an anticipated annual salary range of $90,000 to $155,000, based on candidate experience.
