This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. Learn more about the Sentinel program here. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.What you will get to do:The selected candidate will be responsible for development, implementation & management of the GBSD Enterprise and Program Mission Assurance policies, procedures, & tools required to support GBSD during pre-award & Day1 Tasks as well as staffing needs.Defines and monitors mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success of programs. Performs or assures quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of program achievements, subcontractors, and suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements. Assesses program performance and risks and determines resources to ensure mission assurance.Additional responsibilities include developing, implement ting and managing the GBSD Enterprise and Program Mission Assurance Staffing, policies, procedures, and tools.As a leader, you always act with integrity, and the highest ethical standards characterize everything you do. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree STEM or related field of study with at least 8 years of progressive experience.3 years of formal management experience to include performance reviews for direct reports.3 years in technical or engineering positions (Quality or Mission Assurance preferred)2 years of experience with ISO 9001 / AS9100 Quality Management System setup, maintenance and certification processes including creating/writing and updating procedures2 years of Defense Industry experience as a Quality Manager, Program or Project Manager,Active DoD Secret Clearance investigated within the last 5 years.Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.Preferred Qualifications:Active Top Secret clearanceManufacturing Manager or Engineering ManagerExperience in Metric development for process health and performance monitoring for a large programs/projectsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlinesExperience as liaison between internal personnel, suppliers, and customer workforceExperience in evaluation, trace, and analysis of requirementsExperience in design assurance or configuration managementExperience in developing and implementing Mission Assurance plansExperience in implementing Lean/Six Sigma tools and techniques to drive continuous improvement" Experience leading other managers" Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
