Job Description:

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license Certifications: - AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or NCC - ACLS - BLS - NRP Must-Have: - Experience with vaginal exams - IV starts - Experience with vaginal and cesarean deliveries Description: The position is for a registered nurse specializing in labor and delivery. The shift will be overnight from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The unit has 19 beds and a staff of 60. Patient ratios include 1:1 for labor and 3:1 for postpartum. The equipment used includes Chorometrics EMR and EPIC. On-call requirements are optional. Weekend requirements are every other weekend. Candidates should have experience with IUPC and FSE placement preferred. Triage experience is also preferred. Typical procedures performed include vaginal and cesarean deliveries, SROM, and FFN. The ideal candidate should be outgoing and a team player.
