American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least one
year of CT experience and current ARRT and BLS certification for an
evening and swing shift assignment. Responsibilities - Position is
in a computed tomography (CT) department - Adult patient population
- Performs a variety of CT procedures utilizing ionizing radiation
for diagnostic purposes - Shifts include evening and swing shifts,
with some weekends and holidays required - Uses the EPIC EMR system
for charting and documentation - Responsibilities include
performing exams per department protocol, contrast administration,
infection control, and patient education - Candidates should be
proficient in operation of CT equipment, contrast injectors, and
electronic imaging systems - Must be familiar with cross sectional
anatomy and radiation safety protocols (ALARA) - Expectations
include thorough and accurate completion of clinical documentation
and participation in departmental quality control programs -
First-time travelers will be considered Requirements - Minimum of 1
year of recent CT experience required - Current ARRT certification
and Utah State license if applicable - Active AHA BLS certification
required and must not expire during assignment - Demonstrated IV
certification competency within three months of hire - Must
complete controlled substance and moderate sedation modules within
six months of hire where applicable - Ability to meet physical
requirements including hearing, lifting, manual dexterity, vision,
and standing for long periods - License required if applicable
