Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment is available and functioning properly. Assist in surgical procedures, providing direct support to surgeons and surgical staff. Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection and ensure patient safety. Monitor and anticipate the surgeon's needs to effectively assist in surgical procedures. Handle and care for instruments, supplies, and equipment during and after operations. Assist with patient preparation, transport, and post-surgical care. Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards, maintaining meticulous attention to detail throughout surgical procedures. In-depth knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to react quickly and effectively in stressful situations Proficiency in maintaining sterile environments and aseptic techniques Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required. BLS certification required.
