Position Description: We need a qualified Hiring/HR Specialist to manage and grow our hiring pool, including guiding them through the interview and onboarding process for a smooth and wonderfully positive experience throughout.Med USA is a Utah-based medical billing/provider services company with a nationwide presence. Med USA provides practice management and EHR software, payer credentialing and contracting, and full revenue cycle management (RCM) services, including coding, billing, follow-up, and denial resolution. If you are an organized candidate who thrives on working with people and streamlining processes, this position is for you!Day to Day Responsibilities include: - Working with managers to identify staffing requirements for a replacement or new position. - Creating job descriptions and proposed salary structures for identified openings, as needed. - Getting approval from the department head to open a job requisition for that requirement. - Sourcing and recruiting candidates through websites, social media, etc. - Posting jobs and screening incoming resumes. - Scheduling and conducting interviews with shortlisted candidates and managers to select the most suitable candidate(s). - Extending job offers, including negotiating with candidates about job-related expectations and compensation, as directed by managers. - Overseeing new hire onboarding processes to provide a smooth and positive introduction and integration to the company. - Documenting and reporting on employees' performance in the training period. - Implementing strategies to develop and retain employees. - Coordinating payroll processing. - Assisting with employee separations. - Assisting with developing and administering human resources policies and procedures. - Assisting internal HR supervisor. - Working with an external HR company. - Being the best example of a team player any employer could ever ask for!*Employee may be asked to do additional tasks that do not fall within the day to day job responsibilitiesMust-Have Experience: - 1-2 years' Hiring, Recruiting, or related HR Experience - Computer competency, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and WordAdditional Preferred Skills:

  • Well organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent interviewing skills
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently with little oversight
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a large workload/multi-task
  • Dependability - Willingness to wear more than one hat and the flexibility to adapt to new opportunities.
    • Adherence to a high level of professional and ethical standards (including accordance with HIPAA and employee confidentiality standards)Education:
      • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent work and or military experience)
