is seeking Software Engineer / Principal Software Engineer . This
position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel
program. What You’ll Get To Do. • Design and define system
architecture for new or existing complex computer systems •
Determine system specifications, input/output processes, and
working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and
maintenance of system security • Coordinate design of subsystems
and integration of total system • Identify, analyze, and adjudicate
software deficiencies • Perform integration testing, regression
testing, and formal qualification testing in an agile software
development environment • Work with the lead test engineer and a
team of software developers to establish and develop test methods
and techniques • Design, develop, and maintain software test plans,
software test cases, software test procedures, and automated
software test in compliance with program functional, technical, and
performance requirements • Generate software test data, perform
test data analysis, and develop test documentation • Participate in
formal testing events, customer meetings, and software design

schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a
nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday
off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance
package. Basic Qualifications: T2 Software Engineer: 2 Years with
Bachelors in relevant field of study; 0 Years with Masters or 4
additional years in lieu of a degree.• T3 Software Engineer: 5
Years with Bachelors in relevant field of study; 3 Years with
Masters or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree. • Must have an
active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of
application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain
and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a
reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its
business need • Experience with Agile and working in a
cross-function Scrum team. • Working knowledge of Object-Oriented
Analysis and Design principles • Familiarity with Model-Based
Systems Engineering languages (SysML/UML) and concepts • Experience
developing web-based applications on a cloud-based platform. •
Experience deploying containerized applications in a Kubernetes
framework. • Experienced developing with Javascript, Typescript and
React, • Adept at working across the full stack, contributing to
frontend UI/UX, backend APIs, and database design. • Experience
with RESTful API design and implementation. • Proficiency in
front-end development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript,
React, and Express. Preferred Qualifications: • Current Special
Program Access (SAP) • Experience with modern web technologies,
virtual machines and containerized applications • Experience with
the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence • Proficient
with DOORS, Cameo with the ability to write and decompose system
requirements • Ability to evaluate risks and tradeoffs and present
solution options to management • IASAE III (e.g., CCSP,
CISSP-ISSEP, CISSP-ISSAP) certification • IAT II (e.g., Security,
CISSP) certification • Understanding of OSI Open Systems
Interconnection model and the impact of each level to the design of
a network architecture. • Experience developing web-based
applications on a cloud-based platform. • Experience deploying
containerized applications in a Kubernetes framework. • Experience
using Model Based Systems Engineering to model software functions
using Cameo. • Experience using Unified Modeling Language to
document software design using Cameo. • Knowledge of NIST and ISO
standards. • Experience with other languages like C++, C#, and
Python is a plus. Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 -
$118,900.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however,
Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining
base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the
position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and
current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may
be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary
bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to
reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share
in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director
positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition,
