Job Description Job Description Job Summary: BBSI is seeking an entry-level DOT Driver to work in the Inventory Department. Must have a valid driver's license and either have a DOT Medical card or be able to pass physical to obtain a DOT Medical card. Main job duties will be driving product and inventory between the manufacturing facility and Inventory building. Will need to be motivated and energetic, good verbal and written communication with solid problem solving, have good time management and attention to detail. On-the-job training will be provided. Must be ok with working in all weather conditions. Job Title: DOT Driver Job ID: 74460 Pay Rate: $21/hr Job Location: West Jordan Shift: 8:00 am to 5:00pm, Monday - Friday Responsibilities: Applicants could be required to do any of the following: Shuttling products and inventory from the main facility to the inventory department. Driving shipments within the Salt Lake area Manually unload and load products and supplies. Must operate dolly, pallet jack, and or forklift to load and unload supplies and equipment Prepare inventory and inspect for damages and defects Other duties as assigned Qualifications : Previous experience is shipping, logistics, or other related field Valid Driver's License and clean MVR Prior driving experience including pulling a trailer as well as backing up a trailer Medical DOT card or ability to obtain one Ability to walk and be on feet throughout the shift Bend, stoop, crawl, climb ladders, walk for extended periods Detail-oriented, organized and thrive in a fast paced environment Lifting at least 70lbs Forklift experience Ability to drive a MANUAL transmission Company Perks: When you become a full-time employee: Medical Dental Vision 401K FSA Life Insurance Vacation starts accruing day 1 – two weeks per year for new employees up to 5 years Sick and Personal time received annually Paid Holidays Profit Share Bonus available after 30 full days of employment. *Qualifications must be met Flexible work schedule Casual work environment and dress code Overtime Available Company Description BBSI’s staffing and recruiting services are designed to find and place people for contract and permanent placement.
