We are looking for an enthusiastic person able to provide a first class service to customers at Sandy Library. You will be carrying out a range of day to day duties including assisting customers to use our self service terminals, finding books and information for customers, taking part in promotional activities for both children and adults and dealing with library stock. Experience of working with the public in front line customer service, IT skills (GNVQ level 2 or equivalent) and an interest in books, reading and information are essential. Experience of working in a library would be advantageous.Although you will be based at one library, you must be able to work flexibly at other libraries if required. The post works on a two-week timetable, including alternate Saturdays. Week 1 Monday: OFF, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9.00-2.00pm Week 2 Monday: OFF, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9.00-2.00pm Saturday: 8.30 - 4pm(1hr lunch break)by Jobble
