business objectivesWhat You'll DoAs a Fraud Specialist I, you will
be responsible for receiving, processing, investigating, and
resolving issues regarding fraud in an accurate and efficient
manner. Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to the
following:
- Review, research and process direct deposits posting to
customer accounts
- Analyze data from fraud tools and take appropriate actions
(freeze accounts, investigate account holders, etc.) and recording
information accurately for measurement and reporting
- Perform ID Verification function on accounts where a customer
fails primary or secondary ID verification process and still wishes
to have a card
- Provide daily reviews of certain fraud reports and suspicious
activity
- Provide help and assistance when needed in fraud
investigations
- Provide feedback to management regarding necessary changes and
updates; including policies, upgrades, and customer care
issues
- Work independently to accomplish tasks accurately while
maintaining a good working relationship with co-workers
- Keep sensitive information and/or issues secure and handle
oneself with integrity and respect
- Maintain and promote a positive attitude while meeting
productivity goalsWhat You'll Need
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Any knowledge of banking regulations, ID verification, CIP,
BSA/AML requirements or prior fraud/risk/investigative work is a
plus but not required
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good working knowledge of Google Workspace (Sheets, Gmail,
Slides)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Must be well organized with keen attention to detail
- Must be proactive and demonstrate effective follow-up
skills
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks under strict
deadlines
