Although day-to-day tasks will range from one project to the next, key responsibilities for the position include the following
As an Associate joining our research team, you will have a passion for market and investment research in close collaboration with acquisitions and asset management teams.

  • Collaborate with and assist other members of the Research Team in conducting relevant and innovative research.
  • Originate content for regular market reports contributing to both in-house views on market performance as well as external thought leadership.
  • Lead new market research to develop insights across commercial real estate sectors, including multifamily, single-family rental, office, logistics, and seniors housing, working with investment colleagues to develop bespoke analysis that enhances Bridge's investment theses.
  • Work with internal and external data partners to develop models that optimize underwriting and risk pricing in markets throughout the U.S.
  • Develop convincing visualizations and interactive data tools that inspire action by internal decision makers as well as external stakeholders.
  • Mentor and share best practices with more junior members of the Research Team.
    What You Should Bring
    The Research Team is looking for a professional with at least three years of relevant experience in commercial real estate or alternative assets to join our team as we support Bridge's broader investment goals
    • Minimum 3 + years of experience in a research role within the commercial real estate or alternative assets space.
    • An undergraduate degree with a focus on commercial real estate, business, investments, or economics topics.
    • Demonstrated knowledge in using market research methods in a professional setting to develop actionable conclusions.
    • Strong understanding of the data available in the commercial real estate industry and experience in applying such data to inform and influence investment decisions.
    • Clear communication skills to translate complex issues into simple, actionable items for internal clients and external stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to proactively manage competing demands and meet deadlines.
    • You will be detail-oriented with a consistent commitment to high-quality results.
    • A proven self-learner who can help develop objective methodological approaches to meet identified goals.
    • Moderate to advanced skills in Excel, such as utilizing shortcuts and combinations of formulas, creating charts and pivot tables, sorting/organizing data, etc.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI, GIS, and/or VBA is a plus.
