You will oversee all current and future leadership development
programs and initiatives. Leads both development and implementation
of UTA leadership training priorities especially regarding content
design, content delivery, and senior level coaching and/or
consulting. Come join our Talent Development Team.As the Leadership
Development Administrator, you design and facilitate activities to
build a team with high synergy, leadership capabilities, effective
communication, ideal culture, and clear constancy of purpose.This
position will also design and implement/facilitate comprehensive
training solutions to improve both leadership and individual team
member performance. Also provides senior leadership coaching and
consulting. Works closely with Organizational Excellence, Training
and Development, and HR & Labor Relations in identifying and
seizing upon opportunities to overcome leadership weakness and to
improve collective business performance.MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION/TRAINING:
- Bachelors degree in training and development, Leadership
Development, Human Resources, Communication, Instructional Design,
or a related field. Masters degree preferred.EXPERIENCE:
- Five years in training administration and learning and
development field including working with adult learning principles
and best practices, curriculum development, and development of
leadership training programs in medium to large size
organizations.
- Must have classroom presentation skills, possess strong
relationship building abilities and influencing skills to pull
people together around common goals.
- Three years of supervisory experience.
- Preferred experience in developing training standards and
knowledge of the ADDIE methodology; and in coordinating training
efforts within a decentralized environment.
- Requires a valid Utah driver's license, with no more than 4
moving violations in the past 3 years: also, no more than 1
violation of driving under the influence of alcohol or any drug
within the last 10 years.Knowledge:
- Expert knowledge of leadership training program design and
implementation.
- Knowledge and application of project management processes and
group facilitation methodologies.
- Strong working knowledge of coaching and conflict resolution
skills/methodologies.Skills:
- Strong leadership, cross-section team-working, and strategic
planning skills.
- Strategic thinker and ability to see the big picture.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate
effectively, both orally and in writing, with outside agencies,
consultants, executive level leaders, and employees.
- Intermediate level proficiency in MS Office Suite.Ability to:
- Direct leadership strategic training initiatives, manage
cross-departmental stakeholders, and interact with people at all
levels of the organization.
- Analyze training performance data, develop metrics, and
evaluate training program effectiveness.
- This job requires regular and predictable attendance.-OR An
equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.[UTA
reserves the right to determine the equivalencies of education and
experience.]Pay Rate: $79,000.00 or more depending on
