is responsible for managing daily operations for truck inventory,
planning, coordinating and directing the operations of all unseated
trucks for increased utilization. The person in this position is
also responsible for managing the Recovery fleet. Position
Responsibilities : Manage Recovery Fleet Managers who have
day-to-day oversite of Recovery fleet. This includes hiring,
training, development, payroll, performance management, and
termination. Monitor and track trucks on a daily basis by division,
type and use. Maintain a dispatch board for the Recovery fleet.
Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure trucks are clean, road
worthy, and ready to be seated. Coordinate with Operations on a
daily basis with known issues/concerns regarding truck availability
and ability to recover failed loads/trucks. Act as a liaison
between operating divisions and Maintenance to ensure all trucks
are utilized efficiently Follow up with yard checks on CRE
properties around the country, being aware of available trucks.
Deal with multiple customers at once Conflict resolution as it
applies to truck availability, utilization and recovery options for
stranded vehicles, loads and drivers. Handle urgent situations in a
professional manner. Multi-task as appropriate Responsible for
seating drivers in trucks for all divisions. Move trucks as needed
for trade, new trucks and service Essential job requirements may
include, but not limited to: Run, utilize and develop reporting.
Provide reports frequently as needed to management. Keep company
leadership informed of project priorities and any issues that may
require their attention. Work with other department leaders to
establish goals, align priorities and define departmental
processes. Practice and observe safety rules and regulations and

maintain a professional appearance in accordance with dress code

may include, but not limited to: Ability to work with office
equipment, utilizing computers for majority of tasks and must be
familiar with Microsoft Office suite of programs. Knowledge of
AS400. TMT, and TMS Excellent organizational skills required.
Accuracy and attention to detail is essential. Ability to react to
a high-paced, frequently changing environment Physical Requirements
: Capable of hearing, with our without correction, sufficiently to
perceive normal speaking levels and receive detailed information
through oral communication in order to facilitate meetings and work
with internal customers and stakeholders by telephone and in
person. Position may involve kneeling, stooping, bending, pushing,
lifting, carrying and moving objects that can weigh up to 25
pounds. Capable of working extended hours, to include weekends,
holidays and various shifts (to include evening and night shifts)
as necessary. Capable of sitting at a desk for extended periods of
time and working with computer equipment. Capable of speaking,
writing, and reading English well and possessing a good command of
the language so that various types of communications may be
conducted in English with people of various levels of education and
capabilities. Capable of visual acuity, with or without correction,
sufficient to prepare and analyze data and figures, view a computer
terminal, and read extensively. Education and Experience : 4 year
degree in a specified field or business-related field and
commensurate work-related experience preferred. High school diploma
or GED required Transportation industry experience strongly
preferred. Experience managing a fleet, drivers, or work in a
maintenance environment needed. Working Environment and Conditions
: Must have the ability to work on more than one assignment at a
time with frequent interruptions, changes and/or delays. Must be
able to remain focused and work effectively, efficiently, and
cheerfully under such circumstances. Must be able to handle
incoming requests for assistance via phone and in person while
working on other tasks. Must remain professional in light of
